Communication works for those who work at it.
I am Pratiksha Jain. I have taught children of the age group of 4-8 years for the past 7 years in school. I have completed Bachelor and Masters in Arts in Economics. I have done Early Child Care Education course. Early childhood care and education (ECCE) is more than preparation for primary school. It aims at the holistic development of a child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs in order to build a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing. I have worked with a number of international schools as a pre primary teacher . Few of them are, Kookaburra learning centre, Orchid international school, Aptech Montana international preschool, Treehouse, JDT high school. As I gained experience with many small children, I realized that children need to develop communication at a very early stage in life as it helps them grow and develop further. The developing ability to mirror, repeat, and practice the actions of others, either immediately or later. At around 8 months of age, children imitate simple actions and expressions of others during interactions. For example, the child may copy the infant care teacher's movements when playing pat-a- cake and so on. Imitation can be a good stimulation to enhance communication skills in your baby. The importance of imitation in early childhood cannot be stressed enough; it is the first link between you and your baby. It assists two functions: providing an initial foundation of communication and distinguishing 'others'. That is the reason I have started these communication and storytelling sessions for kids. I would like to help all children grow and develop their confidence and great speaking skills.
